I noticed that the title of your book follows English conventions where all words (but prepositions and articles) are capitalized. In Spanish only the first word in a title should be capitalized unless it is a proper name.
Very interesting, Alex. Of course I wouldn’t have known that since my Spanish, though a little bit past the “¿Donde está el baño?” stage, it isn’t THAT far advanced. Interestingly enough, half a dozen of my native Spanish speaking friends have looked at it and none of them commented on it. Perhaps it just didn’t register with them or they simply didn’t want to bring it up. But I’m a big fan of trivia of all sorts and maybe someday I’ll have a chance to show off and include the fact in a conversation and look like I’m much smarter than I really am. However, I’m going to let it stand. The chances that I’ll ever have another book out in Spanish stands at about zero, but who knows? If I ever DO have one I’ll certainly keep the convention in mind and REALLY look smarter. Thanks for taking the time to write and point it out. I appreciate it.
Are your books available in printed form anywhere? (I do have an eReader, just not a Kindle.)
The books are NOT available yet in print though I’m working on it. Formatting for CreateSpace is a whole different animal and much more difficult that it is for ebooks.
HOWEVER, Check them out at Smashwords.com. And use the search term “Christopher Columbus.” Smashwords puts the books out in Epub (Apple iPad/iBooks, Nook, Sony Reader, Kobo, and most e-reading apps including Stanza, Aldiko, Adobe Digital Editions, others), Palm Doc (PDB) (for Palm reading devices), PDF and other formats.
